thedwp Posted June 17, 2022 Share #1 Posted June 17, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't seem to figure this out....I thought when you switch between photo and video modes, the settings for each switch with whichever mode you switch too. For instance, I have my video settings set to CHD 23.98, Shutter 1/50 and ISO @400. When I switch back to photo, the video settings stay the same, Shutter 1/50, ISO 400, etc. Ideally when switching back to photo I would be back at shutter 250, ISO 50, etc. Does anyone have any ideas or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
Advertisement Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Hi thedwp, Take a look here Switching between Photo & Video Settings Question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LocalHero1953 Posted June 17, 2022 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2022 What mode have you got set: i.e. what are the shutter dial and aperture ring set to set to, and what is ISO set to? With the Q2, which I am new to, I find my misunderstandings arise from forgetting that P, A, S and M modes can be set physically by dial.
emmeixon Posted September 25, 2023 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2023 I have the same question on the Q3 actually, I'd love to be able to customise the settings that appear by default when I switch from photo to video (having to reset aaaaall of that every single time when you want to switch from one to the other is tedious). Is there any place to make suggestions to Leica by any chance? It looks like something they could add on a firmware update.
jaapv Posted September 25, 2023 Share #4 Posted September 25, 2023 Doesn’t the camera have user profiles.? Assign one to Video. No automatic switching of course but switching profiles is rather easy and quick.
