What brand of battery, except Leica, is reliable? Wasabi doesn't seem to be...

You've probably found a solution, but wasabi makes batteries for the CL. Their charger also works for the Leica battery and has a USB connection. I use a CPAP camping and use a solar panel and lithium battery. The CPAP battery can charge devices. Not sure if you have access to wasabi there, but hopefully there's an aftermarket similar to that.

Edit to add that I've used Wasabi in my GoPro's over the years with zero complaint. I have used Wasabi in the CL for two years with zero complaint.

Hi,
I am back from a trip to Ladakh (north of India) with the leica CL.
In the end I will have done 13 days of trekking between 4500m. and 5200m with 3 quite cold nights.

Following your advice, I brought 6 batteries (2 leica-2 Cellonic-2vhbw) + 1 ULQ Nitecore USB charger + 2 powerbanks + 1 Anker 513 Solar Panel.

I chose to photograph everything through the viewfinder without ever using the rear screen. I did not view my photos during the trek.

In the end, my 6 batteries are almost enough. I had to use the powerbank once for 2 battery charges. The second powerbank and the solar panel were extra.
