M6 shutter issue

Hi everyone, I have an issue with my M6. The shutter speed would not change at all except for Bulb. I noticed the meter and the dial still work and communicate normally, but the shutter curtain would remain at  just one speed. The camera has just been CLA’d about 8 months ago.  Is there any quick fix for this issue?? Any help would be appreciated as I’m planning to bring my m6 for a trip in 2 days 🥲

Sorry to hear that.

Murphy's law = always backup(what I learned ! ).

Quick fix, I don't think possible or by miracle the good tech is not far and free to do the job with the replacement part if need be..

In my experiences, I had this kind of trouble on several of my M, the linking with shutter mechanism was out of speck or worn out.

Many repairs were without replacing the faulty device, other needed replacement parts (costing something like 30€).

Hi, thanks for chiming in. I did hear a rattling sound around the dial when I took off the lens and gave my camera a shake. It’s time to accept that there will be no quick fix for this issue.. I guess I’m bringing my olympus OM-2 for this trip then
