Does the live view mode in digilux 3 improve with a 1.4 lens (less dark)

My digilux 2 arrive yesterday after 4 month in repair. I was impress how clear the LCD is at night. I thought maybe it is becouse of the F2 aperture compare to f2.8 of my L1 kit lens.

It seems to on mine.

I have a 30mm 1.4 and it seems brighter.

so you think improve but not significantly? Does any one has a four thirds 1.4 lens and a digilux 2 to see if the live view mode on the l1 gets brither than the digilux 2 (f2) ?

I hardly ever use live view on my L1 so, although I have the 25/1.4, I can't really help. I will say however that I don't notice much difference if any.

The view finder on the L1 is a great improvement on the D2's though, even with the standard kit lens.

I have the f/1.4 25mm Summilux and have not noticed a difference in live view, but may be it is that I have not paid much attention or performed a comparison. I use live view because someone provided D3 tips and it said that metering is more accurate with live view. But I am not technical enough to verify this hmm.
