Hello,

I had a D2 and when the sensor died I regretfully opted for the D3 deal...well I just purchased another D2 from a camera store that had just received it back from Leica with a new sensor focus mount and minor clean up.....now when I use the LCD in dim light it looks horrible....similar to the EVF and very, very hard to see anything it also has a slight flicker (very very slight in the dim light only) the photo comes out fine and properly exposed..and the LCD is fine in normal lighting conditions...With my D2 prior to this I do not remember having this problem in dim light (I photograph my husbands band in clubs alot and the LCD seemed fine)

ANY advice, comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I have a call into Leica to see what they have to say.

Thank you,

Darlene.

Well, Leica told me that the above mentioned behavior is just the way the NEW Sensor is. That it is different in some ways than the old one. I am not sure I like that, but oh well. I'm glad to confirm that it was not just my imagination.

Just wanted to update.
