...Do not hesitate to share your use with the CL !

Really! In which department would they have been superior,  excluding file size?

I bought the CL in late Spring 2018 and took it as my primary camera on five long trips between then and March 2020, along with a 28mm and a 50mm lens. I haven't traveled much since then due to the pandemic.

It's an excellent travel camera, very much like an M in this use. I bought the 10mm ultra-wide lens around the middle-end of 2019, and I'd add that to the kit when next I go traveling with it. One of the reasons I have found myself using it so much is that I cannot easily distinguish between the results I get using it vs the results that came out of my M-P 240, M-D 262, or SL bodies ... and it's a good bit smaller and lighter, particularly compared to the SL.

Hi David,

from my point of view, the CL and SL bodies offer quite similar performances.

I'm talking about the combination with their respective zooms.
The 18-56mm is a good zoom, I like it and have been using it for about 4 years with excellent results, on the T, CL and SL.

On the other hand, mount the 24-90m on a T and you will see the power of this zoom. The images are magnificent.
The 24-90mm is the master piece and it gives excellent results on both cameras.

I did tests with the 2 configurations on the same shoot.
Put side by side the images taken with SL+24-90mm have a more beautiful rendering in RAW than those taken with the CL+18-56mm.
The lens is better, that's how it is.

The CL + 18-56mm is for me the daily companion that allows me to deal with almost any situation. I love it.
The SL + 24-90mm is the perfect camera for shooting on location.
I sometimes take it on a hike but I really need to be in good condition that day!

Cheers
