You might recall that I brought my Q to Leica in New Jersey in mid-March for some very serious repair.  And you might recall that I was one of the early beneficiaries of their new protocol which included assigning a local person to shepherd my account, providing me with full contact information.

They were good to their word and got the camera back to me two days earlier than promised, looking far better than when I left it with them.  But the pleasant surprise was the action of the power switch.  Many of us Q owners complained that the switch required too much pressure to move, often causing Q owners to push the switch past the single shot position to multi shot, and due to how much pressure it required, not even feeling it move past the desired position.  Now the switch moves easily and positively, but is still stiff enough to prevent inadvertent movement, while letting me know tactilely just how far the switch rotated.
