Wide angle on an M8

I understand that on an M9 and up the profile for the 21 Elmarit pre-asph works well with this lens. I bought it for a WA on the M8, so I am fine for now. When I get a FF finder, I'll try it on my M3.

I have an Elmarit M 21/2.8 which lives on my M8 for probably 80% of the time.

I've found that I don't need to use an external finder, as with a bit of practice I can estimate the field of view quite accurately.

It's a lovely Mandler design lens and renders really nicely on both my M8 and my 240. You can typically pick them up for under £1000.

It was either a 21mm or the 18mm, I wanted something a little wider so I went with the 18. I have a 25mm f3.5 LTM that does a decent job on the M8 and it is a focal length I like on film or FF so that was the reason for the18.
