thomas_schertel Posted April 22, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Das neue Thema lautet: "So lebe ich". Keine Digitalkamera! Das Objektiv ist egal. Gebt auch an, womit Ihr Euere Aufnahme angefertigt habt. Gruß Thomas The subject for the new Challenge is "My Way of Living”. It may be your home, your work, your familiy, hobbies, the village or town you live etc. I wanted to have a very wide spread theme. The important rule of these Challenges is that the picture must be taken with a screw thread “Barnack” Leica film camera body, including a Leica 1, Compur, or UR replica. You can use any lens. No digital cameras. Please tell us, which camera or lens you have used. Please take your picture between 22 May to 5 June.. You will then have from 6 June to 26 june to develop and print/scan the picture and upload it. Wait for the picture folder to be added before uploading it. Only one picture and please tell us about the camera etc you used. Voting for the best pictures will run from 27 June to 10 July. yours sincerely Thomas Edited April 22, 2022 by thomas_schertel Schreibfehler 3

Suitable topic - I just completed a larger move within the USA and started to explore my new surroundings. I am living now close to Lockport in NY state in proximity to the well-known Niagara water falls and Canada. Lockport itself is known for its lock system which connects certain parts of the Erie canal. Even to this day the historic locks can still be seen there. I took the photo below today on Whit Sunday with my Leica IIIc and Ilford FP4+ 125 film. My Canon 50/1.4 LTM lens was used here at aperture 8. I developed the film in my 2-step process with Rodinal (1:50) and Xtol (1:2). Welcome, dear visitor! erl Posted June 6, 2022 Share #5 Posted June 6, 2022 Nice picture Martin B, but you must wait till thomas_schertel posts the specific thread for us to upload too. I think perhaps it is not yet June 6 where thomas is. Give him 24hrs (or so) to create and upload the image posting thread. Then repost your pic. I like the dual processing concept you have employed. I shall try it sometime soon.
