smg139 Posted April 9, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 9, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am interested to know why those features that are not in the M11 manual are not discussed wider: for example, - user profiles continue to be deleted and possibly corrupted - camera resetting to factory default for no reason - mysteriously setting the ISO to 12500 as default - erroneously overriding the shutter speed to higher than that set via the top plate dial. - etc. if I google these I get nothing. When I visit my Leica dealer, I am told they are well known issues. Leica - resist the temptation to walk the route of denial and dishonesty. We will walk away. Advertisement Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Hi smg139, Take a look here Features. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted April 10, 2022 Share #2 Posted April 10, 2022 It should tell you something that you find nothing in Google - Leica users are not the type to remain silent if there is an issue. A dealer is not infallible; I would go for a second opinion by Leica Customer Service if I were you, and, to be honest, user error cannot be ruled out. Maybe you can tell us a bit more: for instance: do you save your user profiles?
Photoworks Posted April 10, 2022 Share #3 Posted April 10, 2022 I have user profiles active for 2 month.. they are still there after firmware update. My understanding is that deleted profiles are caused by camera reset. 2 hours ago, smg139 said: - mysteriously setting the ISO to 12500 as default some function can be set by the touch screen even not set on top.. I can only think the internal battery is empty and the insert battery is stored outside. I can think of any other reset option. Lots of problem are caused by incompatible SD cards... You probably should tell us more.. every situation is different.
