Franka373 Posted April 7, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 7, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) This morning the Leica USA was down for maintenance. When it came up I checked for the 35 APO. It did not show up. The M lenses are listed in order of highest price to lowest. I checked for it twice. Either a glitch in the maintenance update or something else. Advertisement Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 Hi Franka373, Take a look here 35 APO not on Leica USA site. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

adan Posted April 8, 2022 Share #4 Posted April 8, 2022 The Leica USA web page has been FUBAR for several months, since Leica changed the layout. This (I am told) is the english-language version of the international site, and the 35mm APO-Summicron is present and accounted for. I use it now instead. https://leica-camera.com/en/photography/lenses/m

Looks like they dropped the modern style summilux asph 50mm. Poor people that were duper into te “limited edition” thing...

wdahab Posted April 9, 2022 Share #8 Posted April 9, 2022 I noticed the link did change for the APO 35mm (I have it bookmarked in case of a silent "in stock" the way that the M11 popped up a few times). It's definitely still there, under a new link. I'm on the Leica Miami list, but as with so many I'm hoping that it does come into stock somewhere at some point. Omission or is it being discontinued?

Looks like the last box just didn't get dragged over. Again, still very new to Leica and seriously thinking of picking up the SL16-35mm and of course just want the latest version... I prefer buying from reputable dealers, with personalized service along with store warranty and return policies, and any other assistance needed. One needn’t live locally, and various good dealers list this lens in stock. I often like to demo or rent in advance, if needed, to assist in purchase assessment. Unless buying used, I always buy from an authorized dealer. I was in Germany for a week on business and the folks at the Munich Leica store treated me very nicely, answered all my questions and had what I wanted in stock! Jeff S Posted June 6, 2022 Share #14 Posted June 6, 2022 (edited) Buying used is even more reason for me to use a trusted dealer with warranty, service and return policies. Good ones like Leica Miami may charge a bit more, but will always closely inspect gear and will send to Leica or DAG before offering for sale to address any issues, often resulting in extended warranty. I bought my mint SL 90-280 and M9 Monochrom just that way. Jeff Edited June 6, 2022 by Jeff S
