clasami Posted March 19, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not sure there is a solution for this; at least I haven't found anything in the manual. In the Review Mode, one can zoom into images and move the zoom box around. Is there any way to re-center the zoom box? Or does one always need to use the arrow keys to recenter manually? Advertisement Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Hi clasami, Take a look here Leica Q2 Monochrome: Review Mode - center enlarged section. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Alan Friedman Posted March 19, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) If you are reviewing and zooming in on the LCD, you can use the touch screen feature - zoom into the image with two fingers and move the zoomed image around with a single finger swipe. Double tapping (which would re-center the focus spot in shooting mode) will bring you back to 100%, where you can start to zoom again with two fingers from the center of the image. I'm not sure if you can assign any of these functions to the EVF - it did not respond to the touch screen controls as I have the camera set and in the mode EVF Extended. clasami Posted March 20, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted March 20, 2022 Thank you, Alan, I am new to Leica - so there is a lot learn. Also using EVF Extended to save power. The focus box reset works as you say. However, in Review Mode, the box will appear where I tap on the screen, not in the center. Double tapping doesn't recenter but goes back to 100%.
