pgk Posted March 11, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Still going strong. Not sure of the shutter count but upward of 30k. With its most used lens; a 35mm Summilux pre-FLE Aspheric. Taken on an 1865 Grubb Stereo Lens fitted onto a Leica SL. Please add a photo of your (still hard working) M9😊, prefereably shot on something interesting. Mine really needs a clean🤔 especially the filter. Welcome, dear visitor! Ko.Fe. Posted March 12, 2022 Share #3 Posted March 12, 2022 German "quality" M9 and MiC GR are the only cameras where 30K is considered as "still going strong" .
Musotographer Posted March 12, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2022 My M9-P, which I've had for three months now, with my favourite 50, the Summicron Rigid. My first Leica, eight years ago, was also a silver M9-P so I regard it as 'still hard-working' even though it's not actually the same one. I'm very happy to have it again. Shot with the SL and the Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm, Welcome, dear visitor! Actually it would; silly me confused the Dual Range (which I understand won't mount on an M9) and the Rigid as one and the same.

It can with a small alteration, not much point as there is no live view for focussing 😉 john
