William Cook Posted March 3, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings all, no matter which search terms I used, I could not find an answer in previous posts, so please bear with me as I ask a question that’s surely been asked and answered before … I’m thinking os selling my like new Q2 M but don’t want to sell it on eBay as their fees are outrageous. Are there any other respected/safe online sites to sell Leicas? Thank you all so much!

Kreeshp Posted March 3, 2022 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2022 I like the buy and sell forum on fredmiranda.com I've bought and sold some higher priced items there without problems.

Fred Miranda as good as it might be (I believe what's been said about it) does not mean a thing to us from Europe...

LeicaDreamer Posted April 3, 2022 Share #8 Posted April 3, 2022 Hallo everybody! Thanks for the “Fred Miranda” suggestion! I am living in Germany and would like to sell my SL2 with the 24-90mm. it’s 2 years old with less than 1000shots in perfect conditions. Could you please suggest me any serious web site where I can sell in Europe? In addition: I would like to sell to buy the Q2! Thanks in advance, Gino
William Cook Posted April 3, 2022 Author Share #9 Posted April 3, 2022 I sold mine to a wonderful gentleman from California through a post similar to this one on DPReview. The only problem—mistake—was shipping the camera via registered USPS mail (the only postal venue offering enough insurance for the value of the camera). It took forever to arrive and the tracking led us to believe the camera was lost. Numerous trips and phone calls to the post office may have dislodged it from wherever it was stuck, but eventually, after more than two weeks, it got there. If I were doing it again, I would have shipped with UPS or FedEx.

jmc014 Posted April 9, 2022 Share #11 Posted April 9, 2022 (edited) I'm also looking to sell my Leica Q2 as it really doesn't get the use-time it deserves. If anyone in the vicinity of Seattle, Washington, is interested, let me know! Comes with: Box, packaging, cables (for US, Australia, EU, and Korea), Leica Q2 Handgrip, and 2 extra batteries (3 total).
