Hi

It's publicly available that Leica will release a Q2 Monochrome Reporter in March. I have been told its being released in a very limited number. My question is do anyone actually know what that translate to? Any one knows how many Q2 Monochrome Leica will release?

The Leica Q3 is available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video and Adorama

As far as I know there is a planned production of 350 pcs. (Have already pre-ordered mine ;))

The Q2 Reporter is the color version, not the Mono Q2. 

Correct?

IIRC there will be both. 350 Monocrom and unspecified number of color Q2  Reporters

One of the earlier press-statements of the announcement said that there will be 350pcs of the Q2M Reporter - but I cant find it anymore

The 350 units is cited only on the Leica Rumors webpage; the Leica Camera website doesn't - as of this moment when I checked - state the limited quantity of 350 units.

Unless the units are numbered on each body or there's an official release from Leica, I wouldn't buy one based on assumed rarity.

My Dealer said he will get 2 pcs., so I think he wouldn’t talk about that if it where unlimited. But nevertheless, I will buy one. 😉

^^^ The term for this rationalization is "confirmation bias"

I've seen Special Edition used in most releases, though B&H says Limited Edition.

I hope they will be limited to 350 units. After asking around a little they will not be individually numbered.
