A short while ago, I bought the Panasonic 20-60mm. This is a full frame lens (and I own a Panasonic S1R) but I also tested the lens on a Leica T and a CL. I am very pleased with operation and picrure quality. The 20-60 is just a little heavier than Leica 18-56, which I own also. An idea came to mind - perhaps I should retire the 18-56 and use the Panasonic on full frame and Leica CL. I have not made any direct comparisons between the two. I would like to hear if anyone has done a proper comparison.

I find 20mm a little long for a midrange zoom on dx/ CL.

Also the 20-60 is bigger than the 18-56.

I own both lenses but have not compared them . I use the 18-56 on CL and the 20-60 on SL2.

Yes, it is around 100g heavier. I don’t think 18 or 20mm will make much difference for me. My idea was to do just like you with the 20-60 on FF, but one lens less to have around would be nice also.

18 is like 28 on full frame… I allways wished for 16mm. 20 is like 30mm. For me thats too much.

but you know what you need, which might be different from my needs.

do you also have the 11-23?

Yes, I have the 11-23. A superb lens.
