Sigma L mount zoom lens

I want a zoom lens for my Leica SL2 body. Does anyone know if Sigma intend to produce an L mount Sigma 24-105mm Art lens. I have tried to get in touch with Sigma but to no avail. Failing that is anyone using a Canon or Nikon version of this lens with an appropriate adapter. If so can you tell me what you think of how the adapter works.

If you are just wanting a F4 zoom in that range why not look at the Panasonic 24-105 - no adaptor needed and a very capable lens.   If faster, then here is the Sigma 24-70 2.8 L Mount or 28-70, not forgetting the Leica offerings of course.   

I do use the MC-21 adaptor for some Canon lenses on the SL2, some work better than others.
