When I click on  'mark site read', more often than not I see a page saying 'Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.' with the title 'Sorry, you not have p' ('permission for that' not shown in the title)

Steps leading to the error:

  • Open the page Unread Content
  • middle-click pages of interest (if any)
  • click on 'Load more activity' (if applicable)
  • click on 'Mark site read'

More often than not, the error message will be produced. In order to really mark the site read, I have to re-launch the page showing new content and then right away click on 'Mark site read'. Doing so will often but not always work.

This is what the error page looks like:

The error seems to manifest itself only since the other Unread Content issue was solved:

I think it's possible that I can mark the site as read only if there are no new entries added after my loading the page.

I already reported the issue using the Contact Us button on the error page, but did not receive any reaction at all. I presume my report went unread.

I've just spotted this.

I don't get this message when I mark the site read but I regularly get it when I log on and have to try a second time. I wondered if it was due to my browser but I notice that you are using a PC and I use a Mac and Safari so it can't be that.

It would be interesting to hear from others if they are havng the same issue.
