Q2 crop......DNG + JPEG....Photoshop Elements 2022 will not show DNG.

Let me explain..

Why PSE22, because I like it, I upgraded from PSE9 from way back.

I also rum Luminar 4.

If I shoot DNG + JPEG in crop mode PSE22 will only display the  cropped image .....and it identifies it as the DNG.

If I shoot DNG on it's own, PSE22 displays the full sized image PP'd in-camera ie, no vignetting....AND it can be cropped in PSE22.

Are you with me so far ?

Luminar 4 however will display both the DNG, without any in-camera PP, ie complete with vignetting, and will also display the cropped JPEG image.

This however means I cannot crop a the DNG (DNG +JPEG) in PPE22 and have to go to Lum4.

With PSE22 it must come down to file size, it's easier to load the the smaller cropped file than the huge DNG file.

Anyone know of a fix for this.

I've even deleted the cropped JPEG and loaded the DNG....but no, it still displays the deleted and cropped image.....go figure.
