macos Posted September 8, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't know whether it is the right category, but for me it was travel as it would be for most of you. This is the WW II bunker at the Obersalzberg, which the 3rd Reich government constructed with fear. As far as I understood it has not been in use. It is part of the History Documentation Center and therefore publically accessible. I tried to capture the claustrophobic mood. All shots SL2 + R 2.8/24 or R 2.8/60 + Scala. As always, comments are welcome. #1 Generator room near the entrance. #2 Officer's room. #3 Audio room. A later installation, here you can here interviews of contemporary witnesses. #4 Blind shaft. Never finished, it should have connected 2 levels of the bunker installation. #5 'Nightmare'. An attempt to access the topic with an interpretation. Technically, nothing more than a double exposure. Thanks for looking despite of the difficult topic. Marcus

Guest flatfour Posted September 9, 2007 Share #10 Posted September 9, 2007 They are powerful pictures but each needs a figure in them to convey the size and the inhuman nature of the place.
