Yes I have two, one for my wife (when she was stronger than now).

2 976 xxx (1979) as Telyt-V at first code 11864, then we added 11906 rear part to use on our R6

3 134 xxx ( 1981) bought as Telyt-R 6.8/560 code 11865

Not used for a long period 🤥.

I have owned several over the years, and just got a mint one from Germany that seems to be constructed differently than my previous ones. I bought one in 2004, and just sold it, after I acquired this new one.

I have bought and sold lenses as they get ugly, or they get stolen (COL). This one is truly a gem, but the front component on my other ones could be unscrewed to allow cleaning. On this one, it seems to be cemented to the tube behind it, but that whole section can be unscrewed farther back. This makes it harder to clean, because the depth of the tube is greater from that point.

Could it have been assembled improperly? As you can see on this site, the extreme front part is supposed to come off easily (it is screwed in), where the light ring surrounds the tube:

But mine won't. It seems to be cemented!

A couple of weeks ago, I cleaned the two doublets of Telyt 560 and the two 400 that we planned to use soon, over the 560.

Had done that many times, when we came back from dusty environments.

The first (I don't remember which one though) 560 mm unscrewed easily, but the second, I must use roughtly 4/5 times more force to unscrew the doublet lens.

Maybe a shock when transported bent the front lens a bit.

I used to put nail polish ( tiny dab) on the thread, after cleaning the doublet before screwing in the lens component.

The two 400 mm unscrewed/screwed in easily.
