Stephen.s1 Posted January 27, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I just took delivery of a M10 Monochrome and can't find any mention of the Shading Correction option in the manual. Other than that, I must say that camera does make hyper-excellent images. Dunno why I put this off for so long. Advertisement Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Hi Stephen.s1, Take a look here Shading Correction ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mediumformula Posted January 27, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2022 I think it compensates for vignetting on lenses when shot wide open. It automatically brightens the corners of the photo. You can do this in Lightroom manually so I leave it off on mine.

John Black Posted October 22, 2023 Share #4 Posted October 22, 2023 Adding this comment in case anybody is Googling "Leica M10 Monochrom" and "Shading Correction" - with shading correction turned on, the longest allowed exposure is 2-seconds. So, if trying to shoot a long exposure and the M10 Monochrom simply won't do it for some oddball reason, turn off "Shading Correction". Nothing in the user manual about this...
