1957 Summicron 50mm f/2 on a M8

What are the restrictions on using a 1957 Summicron 50mm f/2 on my M8?

Also, using my 2006 Summilux 35mm f/1.4 on my M6

I see any restriction using the two lenses (any Summicron 50, any Summilux 35mm) on the two M.

If the Summicron 50 is collapsible, only mount /unmount on the M not collapsed (anyway easier to grab) so not to "hurt" anything in the M.

I have a 50 Summicron from 1953, it can go on my M8 collapsed. The collapsed portion only goes back a few millimeters, and will clear the inner pieces behind the mount. That said I still mount it extended just to be safe, but don't worry if you don't.
