Generally cats are very good sitters. So it's easy peasy - you don't need an AF then

I'm wondering if I should post this under "name this car threads"...^^

But this ear-tipped TNR cat looks lovely. There's nothing wrong to be friendly with cats, isn't it? I take pictures of them some time, it's fun to win their trust indeed.

Sometimes you can, if they cooperate.

That facial-expression is Oh-So-Familiar to me...

OK; both have been posted before elsewhere previously but I may as well join in the fun and post them here as well. Say "Miao!" to 'Scrap';

I believe all cats are capable of that expression. :) You got an awesome beep on the second one though!

Cats with an M? Assuming you're properly licensed for Feline Fotography, yes. Unfortunately, I never applied for one, so I rely on the SL2 instead. 😉

Taking pictures of a cat with any camera follows the law of diminishing returns, the first snap you get, then the more you try and improve on it, the fewer you get until it's impossible. Wait a month before trying again.

Portrait of Ronaldo -M9 & 75mm Summicron. He arrived on our doorstep in France 16 years ago & never left. When I had him neutered, the vet asked me if he was my cat, I said no, so he clipped his ear. He's since travelled with us between France & South Africa several times. Late last year we had to euthanise him at the age of 18 years. RIP Ronaldo.

BTW he got his name from Cristiano Ronaldo, when he first arrived at our house, every time we went near him he would fall over & roll around....😂

 The word out in the www is that we Leica owners buy expensive equipment so that we can take pictures of our cats....🤫

Playing the fool...... M10 & Canon 50mm f1.4 LTM (1962 vers.)   My cats are the best models when it comes to testing lenses & cameras.
