kmonroe99 Posted January 17, 2022 Share #1  Posted January 17, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've sent an email to Leica product support, but I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience... I received a new SL2-S kit, ordered from Amazon in the US. The outside of the box has a red dot in the are marked "Version ROW." I go the the Leica product registration page and select ROW SL2-S kit and then enter the number on the bottom of the camera body; Web page says it's not a valid number. So I tried every number I could find on the outside of the box, all with no luck. KPD Posted January 17, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted January 17, 2022 Good day. Â I've had similar problems with merchandise purchased directly from a Leica factory store. I used the contact email address on the registration page and provided them with the numbers on the product. Â On both occurrences I had a response from Leica within 48 hours indicating that the problem was on their end and I should try again. Â I did and the products were successfully registered. Any ideas? Thanks The camera serial no. is the only no. that you can register. I had a similar issue with my SL2-S, have you tried registering as "Version EU/US/JP" ?  Welcome, dear visitor! LocalHero1953 Posted January 17, 2022 Share #5 Â Posted January 17, 2022 I've had similar problems for another reason - the previous owner of a used item was still registered as the owner.
