I dont think so, given it had issues with m240, so probably it's going to be even worse. Very strong magenta corners.
吉拉德 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted January 9, 2022 Thanks for the answer. I would not worry too much about the magenta corners as I shoot black and white. I am just worried about the sensor to the lens distance issue to avoid damaging the sensor.

You'll have no problem because the 15/4.5 works fine on the Leica M, which has flange to focal plane registration of 27.8 mm, whereas the SL's is 45 mm so the 15/4.5's rear flange won't reach the SL's sensor. I've used Voigtlander 10/5.6 Ultrawide Heliar, whose rear element protrudes further, with both my SL and my M10 without a problem. Pete.

Thats nice to know. They usually sell for relatively low price given the magenta, but is a great little lens.

Are you 100% sure? This would be amazing because I just ordered the lens and was worried about this issue. I want to use it for video on the sl2s and also on my m8.
