Jesper EP Posted January 5, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I experience this result in some situations - I am new to Leica TL2 (Canon D5 before). I am very satisfied with most things, but this is a bugger. Probably something with the artificial lightning - but why? And can it be fixed? Any one with sim. issues? Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Hi Jesper EP, Take a look here Alternating shadows (dark stribes) in the photo. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted January 5, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2022 Probably discontinuous lighting (LED). Electronic shutter too? Use slow shutter times - mechanical. Jesper EP Posted January 5, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted January 5, 2022 Thank you, Jaapv - I see know that I have made a setting where the electronic shutter is on all the time! It helped to get it turned off! Now it would be nice to get rid of the shutter noice? Apparently there is no option for that on TL2.
wda Posted January 5, 2022 Share #4 Posted January 5, 2022 My guess is fulltime electronic shutter. A clash of frequencies.
Jesper EP Posted January 5, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted January 5, 2022 I believe you are right - there was some crazy high-end lightning going on that evening 🙂

Be aware that your ears are 10 cm from the shutter and your subject’s much further.
