d30gaijin Posted December 26, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 26, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone know if firmware can be back dated? On my M Type 262 last year I updated the firmware to 2.10.0 from 2.0.6.0 and have had trouble with lockups ever since. It started happening only periodically but has increased now. If I leave the camera untouched in about 10 minutes it will lock up and the battery has to be removed to fix it. Not that big of a deal except each time I lose all my settings. I'd like to go back to 2.0.6.0 but am not sure that's possible without bricking the camera or something. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. jaapv Posted December 26, 2021 Share #2 Posted December 26, 2021 As far as I am aware the camera will simply refuse to do it. Have you contacted Leica about the issue?

Have you contacted Leica about the issue? Yes I have contacted Leica. They want me to send the camera in (at my expense of course). I am reluctant to do so but may have to.
