wlaidlaw Posted September 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sadly in the last week or so, I have suffered a further marked deterioration in the arthritis in my right hand, with my ring finger packing up. It is making holding the Nocti very difficult and I get the shakes after holding and focusing it for more than about 15 seconds - not a great help. I can manage the longer heavy lenses, as I can take the weight with my left hand but the short, heavy Nocti is a real problem. I have a Leica Goodies STEER on it and various rubber pads on the M8 to no avail. It has just come back from a Solms service and the focus is spot on. It is coded, has a Leica UV/IR filter and is the current model, serial number 3814xxx. It is in mint condition and comes with paperwork, case and box. I would much prefer to swap it with a forum member for a current model coded 50mm Summilux ASPH plus a modest cash adjustment. I am not looking to make a profit but to get a lens I can use more effectively. I would sell it outright if I get enough to at least buy a new Lux plus a little bit. Please PM me if this is of any interest. Wilson
