Soap Posted December 12, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello fellow Leica enthusiasts! I'm new to Leica and residing in Spain. I describe myself as an analogue photographer. My collection consists of a Mamiya 645J, a Yashicamat 124G and some Canon AE series cameras. I develop Black and White by myself and also print some of the work out on paper with a Meopta enlarger, mostly on Ilford or Fomapan PC paper. I have recently purchased my first Leica. A nice looking 1946/47 IIIC. The camera seems/is converted to a IIIF but interestingly still with ASA/Weston ISO selector. It came with a not so great looking second generation Elmar 3.5 with slight haze. Purchased through a Leica Store in Germany the folks there couldn’t tell me if the camera was recently serviced but the camera would be in working condition. As I wanted this camera for shooting I have put through a test roll and found out that times are slightly off. I have already contacted Will van Manen as he has a superb reputation here in the forum to make an appointment to get a CLA. Can’t wait to get the camera serviced and start shooting again.
