surfmanjoe Posted December 12, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, a lot of people complaints Distagon 35mm f1.4 is a bigger and heavier lens. B&H website says the lens dimension is 2.5 x 2.6" / 63.2 x 65.2 mm, I have 50mm planar at 2 x 2.7" / 52 x 68 mm, never thought it is big on M9. Understood the Distagon is heavier. but I am wondering is it shorter than Planar on M9? from the specification, it looks like yes. though only 3mm shorter. Can anyone who have both answer? Thank you. Advertisement Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Hi surfmanjoe, Take a look here Is zm Distagon T* 35mm f/1.4 shorter than 50mm planar?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ko.Fe. Posted December 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2021 Do you care about size only? To me it is blocking of framlines most, rather than just a lens size.
