samwells Posted September 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 5, 2007 Peyton - Great shot, with nicely placed diagonals...I like the subtle hint of the footprints, too. cheers: Sam
stuny Posted September 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 5, 2007 peyton - I agree completely with Sam. I don't understand the base placement -- They're usually at the corners of the baseline.
kuddel Posted September 5, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 5, 2007 Peyton, I like the picture very much because of its strong geometric elements and the toning and contrats of the lawn and the white markings. The footprints are excellent. Which game is played there? Baseball? Regrads, Andreas
Peyton Hoge Posted September 5, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted September 5, 2007 Thanks to you all for your nice comments. Also, Stuart, the bases are placed correctly as the lines and the base are considered fair territory per baseball rules: FAIR TERRITORY is that part of the playing field within, and including the first base and third base lines, from home base to the bottom of the playing field fence and perpendicularly upwards. All foul lines are in fair territory.
