Trish won't let me die until i sort some of my "junk" ( "how dare you!"). So looks like I've got many years yet. 😃 ... What about a non-beige background? We have all kinds of colours here. Rule my father who was a painter, said: Every adjacent wall should be off a bit, slight or large change in tone. Otherwise you cannot make out where the walls end. And match the tone . So for instance, take the sand colour and place that a bit subdued on the back. That way the clutter disappears.
