bill_murray Posted October 30, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) On my vintage 2008 Imac El Capitan with 4gb memory, running LR5, it takes about a minute for LR to create and play a slideshow of 1800 photos, seemingly effortlessly. If I try and play a slideshow of the same 1800 photos, using LR Classic on a 16gb Surfacebook, LRC grinds to a halt (whether previewing or playing), after about 250 photos…at best I can play a file of about 200 photos without painfully slow running…… even the native windows screensaver slideshow runs better than LRC. Are there some secret settings in LR Classic by which I can run a sldeshow effortlessly, or is the slideshow module in LR Classic broken?
