HoxtonBoy Posted July 4, 2023 Share #102  Posted July 4, 2023 I did some test shots with FP4 - developed in D23,ID11 and Rodinal. The differences were not enormous. D23 gave the lowest contrast and best tonal range. ID11 is my standard developer and had slightly more contrast and a bit less detail in the shadows. Rodinal (1+25) gave very similar results to the ID11. Not a great deal of difference in acutance - maybe slightly more grain. Perfectly acceptable unless doing big enlargements. I have tried it with HP5 but not so keen on the results with that as it gets a bit grainy. Ok up to A4 though. I have a bottle as a standby and for stand development. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
