sharookh Posted September 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Folks, Somehow, my viewfinder does not coincide with what I see on my display after taking a shot. Today I was shooting with my 90 and I saw intrusions which I had kept out. What would you recommend I do - and please, no suggestions like "Send it back to Solms";-) Best Sharookh
Advertisement Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Hi sharookh, Take a look here Viewfinder and I disagree!. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted September 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 2, 2007 I thnink you're experiencing the inaccuracy of the framelines covered in other threads. The framelines incorporate an overly generous safety margin, especially when shooting at a distance.
Guest tummydoc Posted September 2, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 2, 2007 What would you recommend I do Make a series of test photos with your lenses at 3m and infinity, then commit to memory how much beyond the confines of the framelines is actually captured by the sensor. If you can remember the reciprocal relationship between shutter speeds and f-stops, you can remember this as well.
