stunsworth Posted August 14, 2006 Share #1 Â Posted August 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I nearly posted this converted to b&w, but in the end decided to keep it in colour. The background cuts the frame in half a little, and I'm not sure that it really works. Â This statue is on the shoreline at Portmerrion, with the estuary behind. Probably shot at f2.8, or f4. Advertisement Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here Portmerrion statue. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cboudier Posted August 14, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted August 14, 2006 Steve, Â The only coloured part is not in the important part of the photo, that may be the cause of the unbalance felling. Monochrome (B&W or sepia, or blue) may be a solution... Â Do you have more photos of Portmerrion ? Since I saw "The Prisonner" when I was a kind, my only dream is to visit this place ! Â Thanks for posting

stunsworth Posted August 14, 2006 Author Share #4 Â Posted August 14, 2006 I did Pete, and to top it all the car broke down in Caernarfon. Had to call out the AA for the first time - turned out that the battery was shot. Had to drive home hoping I wouldn't stall the car. Finally stalled it reverse parking outside the house! Â As for the prisoner thing, the answer was that we are all our own jailers wasn't it?
