SL2 + Sigma lenses, back button focus

Does back button focus work on the SL2 with the sigma dg dn contemporary lenses? I’m particularly interested in the 65/2.

Yes it does, with all Sigma L mount lenses. The 65mm f2 is another great lens from Sigma.

Almost without realising it, I've amassed a small arsenal of Sigma L mount lenses. There's not one that I regret buying. IQ, build quality & ergonomics are all superb. I also love the fact that many of these lenses have aperture rings.

I've got the following:  24mm f3.5, 45mm f2.8 (according to some users, possibly the weakest of the line-up), 65mm f2.0, 14-24mm, 85mm f1.4, 105mm f1.4, 135mm f1.8 &  150-600mm f5/6.3  -all excellent lenses.

So far not one has disappointed. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of these Sigma lenses.

I`ve been looking at various reviews of the 85/105 and the 135.

Good to hear that you think highly of them .

Might have a look at the 135 as a short tele .... I`ve owned that FL for just about every system I`ve  ever had .

I too have acquired a number of Sigma lens's and they are fantastic on the SL2 and CL. I've got the 30mm f1.4, 24-70mm f2.8, 105mm macro, and 100-400mm f2.8

The 105mm and 24-70mm are stunning with the SL2.

I have the 35/2.0 and it works like a charm...

Today I ordered the 65/2, my first Sigma. I like what I’m reading about them. Could be the first of several. I only wish this series had weather sealing.
