Case68 Posted September 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've had my q2 around a year, and I"m playing for the first time with Leica Fotos and Nikon SB700 flash. With the SB700 on manual, manually triggering the camera works fine, including the flash. But when I trigger from the Iphone via Fotos, the flash doesn't go off, though the camera still takes a pic. I've tried changing various settings with no luck. Will Fotos simply not trigger a non-Leica flash, or is there some trick I'm missing here? Thanks for any help. I have tried to reproduce this with my camera. Flash works for me with Leica Photo remote control on iPhone. What flash unit do you use ?

Inconsistently the flash will trigger from the phone, but then seems to freeze. Edited September 17, 2021 by Case68
Case68 Posted September 18, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted September 18, 2021 Follow-up. I tried the same set-up with a Nikon SB600, and it works fine. So apparently the original problem was just some specific conflict between Fotos and the 700.
