Good S lens service from Leica

I recently had a problem with my S120 lens; not the focus engine. I told Leica that it was not urgent, since I have plenty of lenses. I asked to upgrade the focus engine, if it was not already intended. 
 

Even though it was not urgent, Leica completed the service, including engine upgrade, in less than two weeks.

Nice result @djmay.  Question, did you take it to a store, or the Wetzlar location?  I ship mine through a Leica store from the US, and it takes a tad longer for shipping ‘ customs, but lens work has been pretty fast for turnarounds.  My S007 body takes about 2-3 months, which I’m not excited about, but then again, they do a stellar job.

I live in Switzerland, so there is no transAtlantic delay. There were some delivery delays that were my fault and also the Post. None were the fault of Leica.
