higa Posted September 10, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does this combination allow the Q2 to sit horizontally level on a flat surface (i.e., without the dreaded lens "dip"/front of the lens touching the table)? higa Posted September 11, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted September 11, 2021 Thanks @Kreeshp, I'll be using it on a Monochrom also.
luetz Posted September 11, 2021 Share #4 Posted September 11, 2021 I also purchased the RRS L -Plate with Grip for my Q2 and the camera will rest on the lens extremity(tilt). This is the same as without the plate, but much more exaggerated by the height of the bracket.

higa Posted September 12, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted September 12, 2021 (edited) @mth @luetz Damn, I was hoping it would take care of that. I've heard the OEM Leica handgrip will hold the camera upright without the tilt. Maybe still gotta use the lenscap under the lens then... mth Posted September 13, 2021 Share #9 Posted September 13, 2021 With the lens cap on it tilts, without it it won't tilt.
