redrocksjoe Posted August 13, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey All Happy new Q2 owner, I had a Digilux 1 and M6 in the past, and well I love this new camera. Question for y’all, when using the 12 second self timer is it possible to have it focus at the time of the picture being taken not when the shutter button is pressed? My tinkering has not turned up that option yet. Cheers, joe

jaapv Posted August 14, 2021 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2021 Have you tried setting the camera to AFC?

redrocksjoe Posted August 14, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted August 14, 2021 Well AFC was not the cure. Maybe the intervalometer will focus before the shot? I'll try that next. -Joe
redrocksjoe Posted August 21, 2021 Author Share #5 Posted August 21, 2021 If you use the interval setting it will autofocus between shots. At least my Q2 only focusses at time of hitting the shutter on self timer. AF works well too Welcome, dear visitor!
