I found my "new" Jupiter 3 LTM in the mail today and went out for a quick walk. Luckily, it is in a decent shape. A fantastic little lens with a touch of magic. Made in USSR 1961 by Zagorsky Optiko-Mechanichesky Zavod . The lens is range finder coupled and works fabulous with my M10.

btw question: are all LTM lenses range finder coupled without exception?

I am going to make a leap of logic here and say that all LTM lenses are rangefinder coupled because the M series is RF coupled as well as their predecessors, the I, II and III bodies.  They work just fine with SLR's of course and with the proper adapter.  I have the Jupiter 8 and 9 and have another, better 8 coming and an 11.  The cost/benefit ratio on Russian lenses is very good.  If you are not happy with saturation and contrast that can be adjusted in-camera.  Happy snapping.
