esmalkin Posted August 5, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings! I was hoping to get some input on pricing my Q for sale. I am very strongly thinking about selling the Q to fund a used M body. I have some Voigtlander M lenses so I would use those to start with. I see Q pricing all over the place - with most decent looking used Q's going for $2500-$2600 with original boxes, etc. I just got my Q back from Leica NJ after sending it in for a defective EVF, and they did the following (as per repair invoice) -replace EVF -cleaned sensor - adjust auto focus -adjust sensor/out of tolerance -new sensor sealing -new back leather covering -check, adjust, clean The camera looks and functions outstanding, and in my mind is worth a premium over an unserviced Q - does this make sense? I have all of the original boxes (out grey box as well as inner black box), manuals and original paperwork, lens cap, battery, charger, etc. Anyone have a though on fair asking price? Thank you for your assistance!

Marac Posted August 6, 2021 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2021 It is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It's good that it has been serviced. If it were mine I would pass on the good fortune to the buyer and collect the karma points for myself. Do something nice, it makes happiness. Enjoy the M, I still have my M9 and M9M and use Voigtlander lenses with them both.

It is not even allowed on this forum. Look through recent eBay auctions to get a feel of the market, or ask a reputed dealer for his trade-in price and draw your conclusions. Prices are all over the place. I just saw a nearly unused M10 offered for 2400 Euro, including all boxes and paperwork, spare battery and half-case.
