Extending the two year warranty for the Leica Q2?

Hi,

Is it possible for Leica to extend the (here in UK at least) two year warranty for the camera? Maybe to 3 or 4 years?

Not by Leica  but there may be insurance companies offering the service  sometimes a dealer will offer such an extended guarantee.

Leica will only extend your warranty after a check-up trip to Wetzlar

I think that my option is cheaper . Anyway, they will only give one year or less for a check-up or repair.

My bank also offers two years of free extended warranty for any electronic devices purchase with their credit/debit card. 
 

So for years I’ve four years of warranty for everything electronic I ever bought. But it is not transferable. If I sell it, it will lose its extra two years of warranty. 
 

My bank also offers an international drops, theft and water damage insurance. 
 

So I am fully covered. But it is my bank specific services.
