I hadn't factored in the size of the camera and zoom re feeling self conscious, it a good point and thanks a lot for your helpful post.

While cropping is definitely the better option, you can always go the other way around, and use Adobe's Super Resolution to bump resolution then crop. Not as effective as cropping from a native 47mp sensor, but decent enough for most uses.

My SL2s and 35 Summicron SL are on their way!..May I ask, what SD cards will I need? I'll do stills mostly with the occasional video recording. Thank you.
