stuny Posted August 30, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 30, 2007 Charles - Delightful little guy, lovely light, color, details, selective focus and bokeh.
Guest lykoudos Posted August 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 30, 2007 Hello Charles. The admission pleases me very well. In a perspective and an approximation of the creature, that locks for the “natural” view of the eye otherwise. Greeting Wolfgang
David Monkhouse Posted August 30, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 30, 2007 Charles, An excellent shot and a subject not so easy to catch, that is, alive with a mind of its own. For me the sharp focus of the eyes and feathers to the back plus the out of focus background of a complimentary colour make for perfection. Perfect. elansprint72 Posted August 30, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 30, 2007 Lovely shot; even the most mundane of birds can look quite exotic close up and in the right light.

cmb_ Posted August 30, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted August 30, 2007 Thank you all for the comments, it is much appreciated. He was a very good model and struck this rather stately pose with no direction at all! The late afternoon light was very good and made the colors come alive. I was fortunate he turned his head into the light.
