Louis Posted June 26, 2021 Share #1 Â Posted June 26, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I haven't done this for a while and forgot how to do it. I have different users in my users profile that I wish to delete!
Advertisement Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Hi Louis, Take a look here How to remove a user from users profile in CL?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted June 26, 2021 Share #2 Â Posted June 26, 2021 Louis, I just amend an unwanted user profile and rename it in Manage Profiles.
Louis Posted June 26, 2021 Author Share #3  Posted June 26, 2021 Thank you for your response. I am aware that you can rename a user, but I got several useless profile that I have no idea why (they are just numbers); and I really want to remove and clean up. I think I have done that in the past but can’t recall how. Maybe it was in a different firmware?
wda Posted June 26, 2021 Share #4 Â Posted June 26, 2021 (edited) I guess they are just unused profile slots. Just ignore them. Why not explore new possible profiles, like mono, HDR, in addition to your basic user profile? I have one for uncoded M-lenses. In fact I have no spare slots. Louis Posted June 26, 2021 Author Share #5 Â Posted June 26, 2021 I guess you are right, I should just ignore them.
ramarren Posted June 28, 2021 Share #6  Posted June 28, 2021 I don't know why I'd take the time to do this rather than just ignoring the profiles that I no longer want, but a simple way to do it is: Use the User Profile menu to select the Default Profile Use the User Profile > Manage Profiles menu to then set each of the unwanted profiles to the default profile Use the User Profile > Manage Profiles menu to rename each of the unwanted profile slots to indicate that it is unused Once you have that, you can then use  the User Profile > Manage Profiles menu to export profiles. This writes a file onto your SD card. Save the file on your computer. Then if you ever want to reset your user profiles again in the future, just copy the file back onto the SD card and use the User Profile > Manage Profiles menu to import profiles. Louis Posted June 28, 2021 Author Share #7  Posted June 28, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks a lot. As the matter of fact, I was thinking about this approach, but didn’t have the patience of going through that. Maybe one day!
