Nubar Posted June 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 24, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just purchased the D-Lux 7 and to my surprise all my test images were saved only as JPEGs. There were no RAW files. What am I missing here? Thanks
Advertisement Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Hi Nubar, Take a look here Shooting RAW files with D-Lux?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted June 25, 2021 Share #2 Posted June 25, 2021 Welcome, Nubar. You ask, what are you missing? I would guess you have missed reading the instruction manual. Leica cameras usually leave the factory with factory settings. Work slowly through the manual to see the options available to you. Being a Panasonic design. It is easy to press the tiny button beside the power switch which also simplifies shooting, but only in jpegs. Perhaps that was your mistake.
jaapv Posted June 25, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 25, 2021 Or it is being used in 4K mode, for post-focus which is JPG only. I agree, RTM. There is a menu setting for JPG in a number of compressions, DNG+JPG and DNG.
