R4s and Leicaflex Leica Summicron 50 1:2

Hello

could anybody please tell me if I can use a Leicaflex Leica Summicron 59 1:2 two cam version on R4s?

should I work with sto down mode?

Does exist a mod for that lens ?

The R4 series requires the 3rd cam for wide-open metering, so you will need to meter stopped-down. The R4S manual will be available on the web. I never used my 2-cam lenses on my R4, so I can't advise what is necessary.

Leica did make a modification to add the 3rd cam, which I had done several years ago to a 135mm, but even then it took over a year as the technician said parts were very hard to get by then.
